Case Studies
They say a picture speaks a thousand words and we feel this entrance speaks for itself: the main entrance is the first thing students see on their way into school every day. Dull and dreary entrances will make pupils feel gloomy. This new look, completed in ultra quick time with the use of bespoke Wall Art, is uplifting and inviting and enhances how students feel when they enter the school. The use of student images together with the school motto instils a sense of pride and belonging.

Dining Hall
This dining hall was lacking interest and felt very regimented. By adding some colour and interest, along with queue direction, the students now have somewhere more interesting and uplifting to eat in. Adding positive messaging about diet helps to reinforce healthy eating principles.
Huddle Room
This small ‘huddle’ room is used to give some breathing space to infant children who may need some ‘time out’ for any reason. The bland walls were not doing anything to help the users of the space. The addition of the calming peaceful scene has helped the school staff to better support those children who need to use the room. The image allows for peaceful contemplation, decompressing or quiet time. New furniture will soon be added to further enhance the space.
SRP centre
This orangery space within a Specialist Resource Provision in Kent was looking very bleak and unloved. We received a detailed brief from the staff about what might help support and distract the students whilst they were passing through the corridor or waiting to enter the room for lessons: the bespoke graphics incorporate a woodland theme and a variety of ‘critters’ for the children to spot whilst waiting along with affording an opportunity to provide some wayfinding to the various classes.
Sensory play area
Many children require additional support or have very special needs. We love to create spaces that support children who might otherwise be challenged in their ability to play or engage with teaching staff. Our designers are highly skilled in selecting colours and images which create the right balance between stimulation and calm as over-stimulation can be detrimental to some students.
Staffrooms
Your staff are one of your most valuable assets. We can help to ensure they feel valued and have a space to decompress themselves. The use of calm colours, together with natural outdoor images, can soothe staff members, revitalising them and renewing their energy levels.
